Simple Pleasures

They say the simple things in life is free.

My youngster and I fell asleep watching movies on the laptop, and what an awesome night. It is not often that we get to enjoy each others company, especially since he has become a teen.

I woke up to him holding my shoulder and I just lay there looking at him sleeping, it was one of the greatest feelings, seeing him so relaxed. When my lad was 4 he use to make his way to my room, eyes still close, he use to climb on the bed, and fall asleep on me chest, and I thought life was great.
Seeing that little boy grow into manhood was frightening, worrying that he will be off making a life for himself.
We often do not stop and take a moment to appreciate the small things in life.
