Being Dad

At times I wonder how we ended up as the responsible adults we are. Growing up was not the easiest, we would have been regarded a dysfunctional family by any modern standards. Yet here we all are, grown up, responsible, by no means perfect, adults.

But should this be our wish? Should each generation not make errors in judgment of their own, thus better learning responsibility? What are your views? Reply and stand a chance of winning.
