One of the simple pleasures I have in life is the walks with the kids.
The time spent with them is always so special, seeing them run ahead, excited, laughing and happy is the best feeling I the world. Along these walks, they would collect shells, rocks etc and we would place it in my garden. Every time I work in the garden, I recall every walk, every shriek, every smile and every giggle.
I have one very special stone given to me by one of the kids, I always carry this in my pocket. Every time I place my hand in my pocket, I feel the stone, and it reminds me to thank the Lord for the kids I have in my life.
The stone reminds me to show gratitude for simple pleasures.
