We have our first contest planned for local skateboard enthusiasts on the 1st November 2013, and are looking forward to a good turnout.
Our meeting with Mandela Bay officials will also take place earlier the morning and I hope to make an announcement regarding the development of a skate and fitness park for the local community.
As most residents of Bluewater Bay are aware, the closest sport facility for local youth is a 72km return trip. We hope to secure the land adjacent the community gym to develop into a multifunction park.
